The member representing Zaria Federal constituency, Honourable Tajudeen Abass has emerged the Speaker, 10th House of Representatives.
Abbas is the choice candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 353 votes to beat Rep Jaji and Rep Abass who polled 3 votes each.
The members used the Option A4 known as the open ballot system, implying that each member will have to announce who he or she voted.
