Kebbi Govt. Pays Over 422 Million Tuition Fees for 6,000 Kebbi Students

The Kebbi State Government, has released the sum of over  422 million for the payment of 2024/2025 registration fees for 6,127 students of Usmanu Dan fodio University and Federal University Birnin Kebbi.

 

The State Commissioner for Higher Education, Alhaji Isa Abubakar Tunga, while briefing Newsmen said, the sum of over 211 million was paid to the students of 3,922 students of Federal University Birnin Kebbi while over 210 million naira for 2,205 students of Usman Danfodio Universirty Sokoto.

 

The Commissioner, explained that, effort are in the pipeline to pay the registration fees for the 2024/2025 Academic session for all Kebbi State indigenes studying in other tertiary institutions across the country.

 

The Commissioner however called on students to reciprocate the gesture by studying hard and as well become good ambassadors of the state.
