Kebbi health professionals under the aegis of National association of Nigerian nurses and midwives NANNM on Thursday hailed Kebbi state governor ,Dr Nasir Idris for the immediate appointment of Sanusi Mika,ilu as the new emir of Zuru.
Speaking on behalf of the body, the branch Chairman, Comrade Kelani Abdulwaliyu said that they received the news of his appointment with utmost joy” we need to celebrate him because he is one of us, he was a hard working and humble nurse before he retired, so we were not surprised that he was appointed as the new emir of Zuru giving his humility,love for his people as he is domiciled in ancient Zuru town attending to his people”.
The health body also commended governor Idris for following the choice of the poor which was demonstrated during the election process by king Makers of Zuru emirate where he won with a wide margin of seven votes out nine that were up for grabs.
He added that, the decision of the governor to appoint him as the new emir following his victory at the king Makers election indicated that the governor is with the masses of Zuru who showed raw love to the new emir of Zuru ” we particularly thanked the governor for standing with the will of Allah and people,we are deeply grateful to him”.
Nurse Kelani also congratulate the people of Zuru emirate saying with Sanusi as the emir of Zuru certainly they will never regret having him as their royal father.
Recall that, Kebbi state governor,Dr Nasir Idris on Thursday appointed Sanusi Mika,ilu Sami Gomo 111 as the new emir of Zuru following the death of late emir Muhammadu Sani Sami Gomo 111.
His letter of appointment was presented to him at Zuru town by Commissioner for local governments and chieftaincy affairs, Abubakar Dutsin Mari.
