It was a sad event on Saturday when the Former Ekiti Gubernatorial aspirant died after slumping in his office in Abuja.

Senator Aluko was rushed to a hospital close to his house in Asokoro by his aides after he slumped in his office, but upon getting to the hospital he breath his last and eventually gave up the ghost.

One of his close aides who spoke on condition of anonymity disclosed that until the moment when the incident happened, his boss was hale and hearty stating that he was neither sick nor ill.

Senator Aluko  popularly called ‘SGA’ represented Ekiti South in the National Assembly between 1999 and 2003 on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP and was the assistant chief whip.

He was aged 58. He left behind  one wife and five Children. His remains has then been deposited at the morgue of the hospital where he lost his life.
