Kebbi state, president of National council for women societies NCWS,Hajia Hadiza Muhammed Kola was on Tuesday conferred with a traditional title of ” gimbiya Kola” which means the princess of Kola district by the district head of Kola, Alhaji Aliyu Bello Kola.
 
 

Presenting the appointment letter to her before momoth crowd, the monarch said that his decision to confer the prestigious traditional tilte to her was as result of her hard work and huge contributions to the success of Kola village in all spheres of human endeavors.

 

He commended the governor of Kebbi state,Dr Nasir Idris for bringing infrastructural development to Kola town through the constructions of  Birnin Kebbi to Kola road and schools upgrade ” we  are greatly indebted to Kebbi governor and his wife, Zainab Nasare Idris for paying attention to our town and my subjects ” he said.
 
Speaking shortly after receiving the appointment letter, the NCWS, chief thanked the monarch for finding her worthy of the title saying the recognition of her efforts to transform her birth place and town will encourage her to do more in terms of human investments and will also work hard to bring her people closer to the government” I have no words to express how happy I am that our father recognized me and my efforts which means he has noticed what I am doing to my people I am so grateful “.
 
Kola was accompanied by her state secretary,Hajia Maryam Kaoje and a respected elders,Mrs Hadiza Jega,Fatima Aliyu Usman and other members of her excos.
