Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen and his partner, Stefanie Kim Ladewig, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Liora Audrey, bringing another joyful moment to the Nigerian footballer’s family life.
The news emerged on Thursday, October 29, after Galatasaray, where Osimhen currently plays, announced the arrival through its official communication channels. The Turkish club congratulated the couple and expressed its wishes for the newborn to enjoy a long, healthy and happy life.
In its announcement, Galatasaray confirmed that its first-team player and Stefanie had welcomed a daughter, while also revealing the baby’s name to supporters who quickly joined in celebrating the family.
The development has attracted attention from Nigerian football followers, particularly those who have followed Osimhen’s career and personal milestones. Although the striker regularly makes headlines for his performances on the pitch, the latest announcement has shifted attention towards his growing family.
Osimhen Welcomes Second Child With Partner Stefanie
The arrival of Liora Audrey marks the second time Osimhen and Stefanie have become parents together. The couple already have a daughter, Hailey, who was born in October 2022.
Stefanie Kim Ladewig is a Cameroonian-German model and social media personality who has maintained a relatively private profile despite her relationship with one of Nigeria’s most recognised footballers.
Reports about the couple’s relationship date back to Osimhen’s time with German Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg, where he played before moving to Belgium and later establishing himself among Europe’s prominent forwards.
Over the years, Osimhen has occasionally shared moments involving his first daughter, particularly during special family occasions and celebrations. However, he generally keeps details about his home life away from the level of public attention that follows his football career.
The birth of their second daughter therefore represents another important family milestone for the Nigerian international, who continues to build his career while raising his children.
Birth Comes After Accident Involving Stefanie in Istanbul
The arrival of the couple’s baby girl also comes approximately two weeks after reports of a road accident involving Stefanie in Istanbul, Türkiye, while she was eight months pregnant.
According to reports from Turkish media, the incident occurred on October 13 in the Mithatpasa neighbourhood of Kemerburgaz, within Istanbul’s Eyupsultan district.
Stefanie was reportedly driving an SUV when it collided with a light commercial vehicle before making contact with another SUV travelling in the opposite direction. The collision damaged the vehicles involved, although reports indicated that nobody sustained injuries.
Following the incident, medical personnel took her to a private hospital in Istanbul’s Maslak area for precautionary examinations because of her pregnancy. She was subsequently discharged after doctors completed the necessary checks.
The reports initially attracted attention because of the circumstances surrounding the accident and the stage of her pregnancy. However, the latest announcement from Galatasaray has brought positive news about the family’s newest addition.
Osimhen Maintains Strong Presence at Galatasaray
Away from the family celebration, Osimhen continues to attract attention through his performances for Galatasaray, where he has become an important figure in the club’s attacking department.
The 27-year-old joined the Turkish champions after his successful spell with Italian side Napoli, where his goals played a major role in the club’s historic 2022/2023 Serie A title triumph.
His performances in Italy earned him the 2023 African Footballer of the Year award, further strengthening his position among the continent’s leading footballers.
Since moving to Türkiye, the Nigerian forward has continued to demonstrate his goalscoring ability and attacking strength, earning support from Galatasaray fans who regard him as an important part of the team’s ambitions.
His latest family milestone comes during another demanding period in his professional career, as the club continues its domestic campaign and prepares for upcoming league commitments.
For Osimhen, however, the arrival of Liora Audrey provides a special reason to celebrate beyond the football pitch. The striker and Stefanie now have two daughters, with supporters joining Galatasaray in wishing the growing family happiness and good health as they welcome their newest member.
