
NANNM Commend Idris for employing over one thousand health professionals, nurses to boost healthcare in Kebbi

Kebbi state branch Chairman of National association of Nigerian nurses and midwives, comrade Kelani Abdulwaliyu has commended the governor of Kebbi state,Dr Nasir Idris for approving immediate employments of one thousand eight hundred health care practitioners which include Doctors and nurses and midwives to boost healthcare delivery in the state.
Similarly, the governor also approved for employments one thousand primary healthcare workers to strengthen health services at the primary level of care” for the above reason we decided to commend him to encourage him to do more for the teaming people of Kebbi state, we thank you most profoundly for the kind gesture”.
He added that, Kebbi state government has built and will unveil yet another school of nursing and midwifery at Ambursa village under Birnin Kebbi local government to decongest the existing college of nursing sciences which is occupied hence the reason to build another one to fill the manpower gap in the state.
Kelani noted that at association level they will make sure nurses stay at their work places to justify their pay and the enabling environment provided for them to thrive even as he commended members of his executives for their support to the association.
