Kano Hisbah arrests TikToker UK International over videos showing him with women. The 27-year-old content creator, whose real name is Ukasha Yahaya, was taken into custody after entering Kano.
Hisbah Deputy Commander General, Dr Mujahid Aminuddeen, confirmed the arrest on Thursday, September 17, 2026. He said Ukasha was picked up after the agency received intelligence that he had entered Kano.
The TikToker, who is from Gusau in Zamfara State and resides in Abuja, is currently in Hisbah custody as investigations continue.
Why Kano Hisbah Arrests TikToker UK International
According to Hisbah, some of Ukasha’s videos showed him dancing, hugging and carrying women, while other clips featured swimming and bathing scenes.
During questioning, Ukasha reportedly said he could not remember the number of videos he had made with women. He also disclosed that some of his videos had attracted between one million and three million views.
When asked how he found the women featured in his videos, he reportedly said they approached him. He said they did so because of his work as a content creator.
Hisbah said the TikToker’s mother and other people had also cautioned him about the nature of his content.
His TikTok account, UK INTERNATIONAL, reportedly has more than 262,000 followers and 2.4 million likes.
TikToker Apologises, Says He May Quit Such Content
Ukasha reportedly apologised during questioning and promised not to repeat the acts. He also said he had started considering quitting such content as he prepares for marriage.
The development comes as Kano Hisbah continues to monitor social media content. The agency targets material it considers contrary to the state’s religious and moral guidelines.
Aminuddeen warned young people against using TikTok for activities the agency considers to contravene morality and religion.
Hisbah said it would charge Ukasha to court after completing its investigation. The case has also drawn attention to the growing influence of social media creators in Nigeria.
