Cristiano Ronaldo scores two goals in Al-Nassr’s 4-3 win over Al-Ahli in Saudi league [Video]

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals in Al-Nassr’s 4-3 win over Al-Ahli in the Saudi league on Friday.

Ronaldo’s first goal came in bizarre circumstances just four minutes into the game. He received a pass from Sadio Mane and fired a shot through a cloud of smoke from pre-game pyrotechnics, despite not being able to see the goal.

Ronaldo scored his second goal of the game in the 52nd minute, when he picked up the ball on the edge of the Al-Ahli penalty area and turned inside before firing a low shot into the bottom corner.

Anderson Talisca scored two goals for Al-Nassr, while Franck Kessie, Riyad Mahrez, and Feras Albrikan scored for Al-Ahli.

The Portuguese forward has scored 9 goals in 6 matches for Al-Nassr in the current season of the Saudi Pro League.

Ronaldo now has 33 goals in 2023. 14 goals came from the SPL last season, six from the Arab Lub Champions Cup and eight this term.

He scored five of those goals for Portugal in the 2024 European Championships qualifiers, per Transfermarkt.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid superstar has also assisted seven goals in 2023.

He has a total of 41 goals plus assists in 2023 in 39 games, which is an incredible milestone for a player his age. That number will go up before the year ends.

Al-Nassr will be looking to continue their winning streak when they travel to Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium to face Ohod in Kings Cup of Champion on Monday, September 25 at 19:00.

Ronaldo will be hoping to add to his goal tally in the match.
