Akin Osuntokun, a well-known political strategist and leader within the LP, has stirred up quite a storm in the political arena by claiming that there’s a concerted, state-sponsored effort to undermine Peter Obi’s reputation.
Osuntokun asserts that this campaign is not only well-funded but also meticulously organized, all aimed at damaging Obi’s image as we approach the 2027 elections. He believes this is a reaction to Obi’s rising popularity and his solid support base.
“It’s evident that some people in power are threatened by the movement that Obi embodies. They’re pulling out all the stops to tarnish his credibility,” he stated.
