African Democratic Congress ADC Reacts to campaign of columny against Malami By Aliyu Usman

ADC Kebbi State Condemns APC’s Desperate attempt to sow discord in the party and embark on Smear Campaign Against Abubakar Malami, SAN a leading member of the party in kebbi Sate
An attempt to sponsor falsehood and portray the party as being factionalized in the state has been uncovered and African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kebbi State unequivocally condemns the ongoing schemes and smear campaign orchestrated by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in its bid to undermine the credibility, integrity, and political standing of our party and its distinguished leader , Abubakar Malami, SAN.

Our attention has been drawn to a planned press conference, allegedly sponsored and stage-managed by the APC, scheduled for tomorrow in Kebbi State. The sole purpose of this event is to create unholy division, factionalize ADC and cast baseless doubts on Malami’s legitimate membership of the ADC, and by extension, to weaken the growing influence and popularity of our party across the state.

This calculated act of political desperation is yet another proof that the APC, having lost the confidence of the people through years of unfulfilled promises and divisive governance, is now resorting to underhanded tactics in a futile attempt to derail the ADC’s momentum. Such antics are unbecoming of a party that claims to uphold democratic values and respect for the will of the electorate.

Abubakar Malami, SAN, is not only a respected legal luminary of national repute but also a dedicated son of Kebbi State whose values, principles, and vision for the state perfectly align with the core ideals of the ADC—justice, inclusivity, equity, and sustainable development. His decision to join the ADC represents a conscious commitment to champion a political alternative that genuinely serves the interests of the people rather than the ambitions of a few.

We are fully aware of the APC’s attempts to entice ADC members through inducements, intimidation, and misinformation. These actions betray their fear of the ADC’s rising profile, our deep grassroots presence, and the growing belief among Kebbi citizens that change is not only possible but inevitable under our platform.

The ADC Kebbi State Chapter calls on all well-meaning citizens to see through these diversionary tactics. We urge the people of Kebbi State to remain vigilant, reject divisive propaganda, and continue to rally behind the ADC as we work to entrench transparent governance, economic empowerment, and social justice for all.

As a party, we remain resolute and undeterred. No amount of political blackmail or sponsored falsehoods will distract us from our mission to provide credible, people-oriented leadership in Kebbi State. We stand solidly with Abubakar Malami, SAN, and reaffirm our unwavering confidence in his capacity to contribute meaningfully to the ADC’s vision and the state’s progress.
